This site documents resources for students and faculty studying Data Science at UCSB.

There are various units at UCSB that offer Data Science instruction, including, but not limited to:

• The Department of Statstics and Applied Probability which offers undergraduate degrees and advanced course work in Data Science.
• The Department of Computer Science which offers two courses for non-majors in Data Science (CMPSC 5A and CMPSC 5B)
• Various courses across L&S, Bren, and Gevirtz that teach data science concepts in the context of their own academic disciplines.
